As you head into Olivia’s Roost, you’ll see a striking crimson kitchen to your right, complete with a contemporary granite breakfast bar and stools – ideal for morning coffee and croissants, or those obligatory late-night nibbles.
While you’re bound to be seduced by the lavish copper bath, the property also boasts a high-spec rainfall shower with massage jets, perfect for rinsing off in before heading out to soak in the hot tub. On frosty winter nights, Olivia’s large Scandi-style log burner is the perfect evening companion. Load it up with logs, pour yourself something to sip on, and let the world fade while you switch off and get toasty.

Outside Area
As you head through the bifold doors to the outside of the property, you’ll discover a large outdoor deck area complete with seating, dining furniture, and a BBQ for lazy al fresco breakfasts or romantic dinners under the summer sky. A winding path takes you to the back of the garden. There, you’ll come across a comfortable circular daybed where you can snooze, snack, or simply watch the world go by.
To illuminate your evening soaks in the hot tub, we’ve added twinkling fairy lights and ambient outdoor lighting. But if you just so happen to be staying with us on a crystal-clear night, tilt your head back, and you may well see the stars!

Olivia’s Roost is handily situated on our family-run farm estate in Hutton, North Somerset. This makes it the perfect base for local adventuring in Somerset or as a spot to stop off and rest your legs before venturing further down to Devon or Cornwall. If you love to get out in nature, you’re in luck. Here in Hutton, you’re spoilt for choice with all the spectacular walking trails on our doorstep. From Brean Down to Cheddar Gorge, there’s always an adventure to be had.
Eating & Drinking in Hutton
Since this is a self-catering property, we provide all of the utensils and kitchenware you need to cook in comfort. During your stay, be sure to head to our Cluck N Collect’ egg station for fresh golden-yolk eggs from our hens. If you’re planning a BBQ or big brekkie, we can also supply local sausages and artisanal hampers. Just down the road, there is a fantastic local pub that serves pub grub, plus a late-night Chinese. Both are a 5-minute walk.

Can I bring my dog to Olivia's Roost?
Yes, one dog is welcome per couple. The cabin has an enclosed garden and nearby walking trails, making it a great choice for dog-friendly stays.
Is the cabin warm in winter?
Absolutely. With a large Scandi-style log burner, radiator, and room-darkening blinds, Olivia’s Roost stays cosy and comfortable all year round. Logs are provided.
