We’re delighted to have you stay with us at Olivias Roost. To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we’ve put together some handy information. Please take a moment to read through these notes, and feel free to ask us any questions.
Finding Your Hideaway

Directions
As you enter Hutton Village, look for the Old Inn Pub on Main Road. Opposite, you’ll find Orchard Road, which bends left and leads to your home for the next few days. The Old Inn is an award-winning pub with great food. We recommend booking in advance at 01934 812336, especially on weekends.
We are at the top of a horseshoe, so you may arrive from either direction. If you see the Church, you’re almost here!

Two circular signs for Walnut Barn Estate will welcome you.

Look for the stone barn with “Walnut Barn” painted in white on the gable.
The wooden electric gates are to the left.

Enter code 1210. The gates will open automatically when you leave.
Parking and Check-In
Guest parking is in front of Olivias Roost. As you drive into the main farmyard area, follow on and bear right driving pass the cars parked on left hand side and head towards the Big Oak Barn.

Follow around to the left” and Olivias Roost is just behind the Big Oak Barn with your very own private entrance and garden.

Essential/Heating
First Aid Kit: Located in the kitchen cupboard. A&E is 1 mile away near Uphill.
Radiator and Log fire heating: Thermostat controlled Radiators and Log Burner for warmth on those cold nights to cosy up. Log burner with initial logs provided please ensure you dispose of ashes when they are completely cold. Extra logs are £10 per bag.

Lighting
Light switches above front door.
Bathroom light and extractor fan right side of radiator.
Mood lighting switch for bed and headboard.

Fan & Ceiling Light
Please use the remote control for the above fan and ceiling light.


Insectocutor & Air Con Unit
Insectocutor- there are 2 which helps to keep insects at bay. They are circular panels which omit a soft green light at either end of Olivias Roost.
One above kitchen with on/off switch marked in boiler cupboard & one behind TV on / off switch if noise or light should bother you.
Air Conditioning – remote control
AIRFLOW – blue button angle flow from unit
Temperature – <> up/down
Fan Speed – Auto/High/Med/Low
Mode – see tiny symbols on right of remote screen.
Choose 2nd star symbol for cool air conditioning. 19° is good

Bathroom
Enjoy the state-of-the-art double-headed shower

The Copper Bath
DO NOT LEAVE THE BATH UNATTENDED WHILST FILLING AND DO NOT OVERFILL – halfway is generally the marker for 2 bathing. Enjoy!

Storage
Storage for guests belongings. Gently raise the bed using 2 hands on relevant grip hand holes.

Blinds
We recommend you lower the blackout blinds if out for the day as they help to cool down the Roost.
WiFi
Password: 66666666
Garden Area
Use plastic goblets outside instead of glassware. The garden is lit at night for your enjoyment.

Kindly put away the day bed cushions in the storage box provided.

Hot Tub
- Shower before and after using the tub.
- Do not use the tub against doctor’s orders.
- Always supervise children.
- Be careful on the steps.
- Top up water to just under the jet line using the hose.
- Replace the lid when not in use to maintain temperature and save energy. Keep the heat exchanger clear and do not sit on it. DO NOT place towels on it.
- The hot tub is tested regularly for your well-being.
- Please do not adjust the temperature it is set for a maximum of 40. You can press the blower/jets for your preference. Pair your music with the built-in Bluetooth speakers.
- kindly refill waterline to underneath headrest using the hose pipe ready for your next dip.

BBQ
Please use charcoal and and place in tray.

Farm Produce
Visit the Cluck n Collect Egg Station at the top of the drive for fresh eggs at £2.50 for ½ dozen. We also offer home-produced lamb, pork, and beef (seasonally). Ask James for more details.
Fire Safety
In the event of a fire, meet in front of the Walnut Barn entrance.
Last Day
Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Leave the keys in the key box next to the front door. Kindly leave Olivias Roost as you found it.
- Strip and place linen in the shower, leaving mattress and pillow protectors in place.
- Place towels in the bathroom.
- Please ensure all rubbish is removed prior to checkout. Recycling bins and bins at main entrance to drive.
